In 1992, I was playing with my LEGOs, Super Mario and F-Zero, without thinking about the future. 3 years later, I discovered the PS1 with FFVII, and still didn't know what I wanted to do in my life. Even 4 years ago, playing StarCraft II, working at Autodesk, I wouldn't have thought that someday I would manage an indie game studio!
Cubical Drift is the most exciting experience of my life. At first, even if I knew the potential of the Stellar Overload project, it was very difficult to convince other people, "don't do that, don’t quit your job, you will fail".
Thanks to Kickstarter, thanks to the players’ community we can finally go further in this fantastic adventure!

I have been developing games with Guyk since we were kid. After a computer science engineering school, I made 4 years in a video game studio and 4 others in satellite imagery. I kept making video games in my spare time with Guyk. I think that the potential for sandbox games is not fully exploited yet, that's why we came up with the Stellar Overload project.
I'm a huge fan of Lego, coding and playing video games. I would like to join those hobbies together to make Stellar Overload a game where you can play with an infinite number of bricks, and bring interactive creations to life.
I have a lot of complex ideas for Stellar Overload that, fortunately for you, Neom simplifies :-)

Born in Mulhouse, I've been a gamer ever since I was a kid. I started with the Nintendo, then my first PC then the Super Nintendo and finally I stayed on PC. I discovered software development with CodingMarmot when we were about 12 and obviously, being gamers we started coding our own games.
The Idea behind Stellar Overload, at least for me, is to build a bridge between two kinds of video games I particularly enjoy: RPG (Role Playing Games) and sandbox games. In RPG, it's all about action, quests, and developing your character whereas sandbox games, you are free to build whatever you want and shape the entire landscape however you want. It's really fun and challenging to develop a mix of these two game types.

As a kid, in Ardeche, I was having a lot of different jobs like being a hut builder, a secret agent, a snail breeder, an explorer, a writer or a video game developer.
Since then, I've grown up, and decided to focus on one of these activities : After some ingeneer studies in Toulon I worked 6 years in a Belgium studio creating serious games and a few months in Paris as a mobile games developer.
Then, I came back toward the sunlight and the sea, and joined this great team I'm working with !
As a gamer, I really enjoy independant productions offering new experiences through their gameplay or design. That's what I want to share, as a part of this ambitious project.

When I was a kid, I was fascinated by the video games I saw both my brother and sister play. So I think it wasn’t that much of a surprise when I became the worst kind of gamer in existence: The passionate kind.
During high school, I remember having dreamt for hours about becoming one of these famous game developers.
Finally, after a few academic misadventures, an engineer school and a healthy dose of stubbornness, I discovered that sometimes… On a misunderstanding you can make it works! (I’m really a magician in disguise, but shh, that’s a secret!).
I’m very glad to join Cubical Drift and to work on Stellar Overload which seduced me on the spot by the way it combines SandBox and RPG, two kinds of games that, if you ask me, was about time to introduce to each other!

I began by studying mathematics, then I discovered the development, that I've experienced as a passion.
I have mainly worked in the domain of data processing (artificial intelligence, data mining and machine learning), then I decided to find a way to combine two of my passions, games and software development.
That's how I reached, worn by the heraclitean river of positive passions, in the harbour of Cubical Drift.

After 5 years of studies in biochemistry (I had to practice on viruses ;) ), 10 years ago, I did a complete turn around to work in the world of web development .
I joined Stellar Overload's team thanks to Neom, allowing me to be part of a grand and ambitious project, supported by a constantly growing community of fans.

I already tasted more than a bite of video game development when I first met the Cubical Drift team.
My path has always been all about drawing, from comics’ author/illustrator to graphic designer then art director.
My proudest creation to date is FLY’N, a 2D platformer for which I shared my vision with an enthusiastic and involved team.
Video game developer is my favorite profession compared to all the others I have practiced.
The way I feel it, is like being part of a crew with complementary skills, sailing to an island… and because this island doesn’t exist yet, it has to be created along the way.
I love small teams and I really feel the potential of the “lego” low poly aesthetic of Stellar Overload.
I’m really excited to use my new 3D skills in such a game!

Born in Nice, I obtained a degree in fine arts in Monaco. I quickly decided to combine my main passions, which are drawing and gaming. Therefore, I decided to attend some new studies at Lisaa, a parisian school specialized in videogames. I started my career as a freelancer, and had the opportunity to take part in many different projects in both games and advertisement.
Being allowed to work on a project as ambitious as Stellar Overload was an exciting adventure that I couldn't miss. The game universe and technology convinced me, and it's with a great pleasure that I joined Cubical Drift.

Born in the wild lands of Auvergne, I began piano at the age of 7. After music and composition studies, i've played a few years as a guitarist and singer in a rock band called Retropolis.
Then I felt that my passion for video games and video game music was still here, so I decided to create the webchronic After Bit with my friends Antoine Tuloup and Valentin Ducloux. In this chronic, we analyze video game musics. In 2014, we started a new chronic called Cover which consists in creative video game music covers.
I contacted Neom because I was really amazed by the project, and I wanted to be a part of it. There are so many things we can imagine for this game's musics, it's very exciting, and I will do my best to offer you the best sound possible.

Born in Lyon, I’ve always been a gamer.
I was already designing levels on a wonderful little game called Gold Digger on Macintosh in 1990.
Then I discovered Neverwinter Nights’ Editor, Hammer, UDK, CryEngine on which I grew my interest for level design.
After my studies in litterature and University of sociology applied to video games, I entered in the world of video games.
Big fan of platformers, I had the chance to work on Rayman Legends and Tetrobot & Co in Montpellier. Enjoying as well Terraria, Minecraft and many adventure games, The Stellar Overload project seduced me for the large possibilities and the chance to be part of the creation of a sandbox world, and I’m really glad to put my creativity at the service of Cubical Drift, hoping to make you levels not too hard (well, we will see about that ^^).

Born in Picardie, I grew up amongst role playing games (both paper and console). After studying Computer Science in Lille, I exiled myself in Paris to study video games. Once I graduated I worked as a Game/Quest Designer on RPGs in Gent (where I was lucky enough to start my career on Divinity: Original Sin) and Lille.
I am very excited to join the Cubical Drift team and put my imagination toward an independent project that match my favorites genres, even though I have to face the terrible southern weather.

I love video games. That’s why I have been working in video games for the past 15 years. I’ve been in charge of the Sierra brand worldwide (Half Life, Empire Earth, …), I launched the Xbox 360 in France and all its 1st party games (Halo, Forza, Mass Effect, …), I directed the Marketing & Communication of 450 video game specialized stores (Micromania part of the GameStop group).
I am happy to join the Cubical Drift team, work on the Marketing & Communication parts of this nice project and share my experience with people who are as passionate as me about video games. This is an exciting and ambitious adventure and I hope you’ll enjoy the game as much as we enjoyed making it.
