Japanese Maple Tree


We have integrated a relatively large tree, made of approximatively 23,000 blocks: the Japanese maple. This enabled us to sorely test our working tools and to implement necessary optimizations.



Character animations


We also made substantial progress on the player’s character animations: walk, run, jump, strafe, and fly. All of this is now operational.



"Responsive Design" Website


On the web development side, the website is now adapted for an optimal readability on smartphones and tablets thanks to the use of the “responsive design”.

What they are showing is what they are adding to the Alpha. Which will come out at the second quarter of 2015! (SOON)

If the game is being updated how come I don't see game updates in my account?
I thought I bought access not just one version of a prealpha. Can someone clarify

In later stages of the game do you plan on working on the lighting/shaders? The lighting in the game at the moment looks a little funky.

@NeoM Thank you very much for that response! I've seen some beautiful textures done by the Skyrim and Minecraft community, so I'm really excited to see what we can do in a game with an efficiently designed game editor. :)

Only doubts I have at the moment are that even from a short distance away objects like trees are rendered in such a low level of detail that they look like block trees, rather than what they are. I understand trees a long way off being rendered blocky, if at all, but when the only normal detail trees you can see are right next to you it doesn't look the best.

looks great, I think it would be cool if player movement had a bit of variation depending on your fighting style. I feel like it would be a subtle feature that people would appreciate.

I'd like to add a request for a breeze through the trees.

Maybe a bit much to ask, but something you could add to your roadmap (if it's not there already); Subtle movements in the trees - like a breeze is blowing through. These subtle motions really bring a game to life and create the atmosphere of a living world.

i have just one request: the ability to crawl around in the prone position.

it's one thing i wish minecraft did and i was really hoping planets┬│ would. i love the idea of crawling through the ground like this! slightly claustrophobic, but with this amazing feeling of being able to hide from the enemies, other players, or just what it would feel like to actually go spelunking in a real cave!

tl;dr i want to go prone :-)
