Equipment Items

One of the feature that we want in the game since the beginning of the project, is the possibility for the player to equip items that have an impact on the gameplay. We already had an armor, but we wanted more.
That’s why, in the character sheet, you now have 4 equipment slots in which you can place items that change the character statistics and even give the character new capabilities.

The first items I’d like to introduce are the bags and the flashlight (yes, it is back!).
When starting the story mode, you now have a much smaller inventory (24 slots instead of 72), but you will now be able to craft 4 bags that increase the inventory size.


Also, if you miss the flashlight, you will now be able to get a flashlight item and equip it.


Also note that you can’t equip multiple items with damage resistance and inventory size stats on them. You won’t be able to equip two armors, or two bags.

Il vas y avoir des tiers de jetpack plus ou moins puissant, des jetpacks conssommant de l'électricité qui marchent à l'infinis?
J'ai hate de voir la prochaine MAJ!

Faut mettre à jour le planning moi je dis, presque 2 mois depuis l'EA5 et toujours rien sur L'EA6.

Moi je vous le dis, ça sent l'animal de compagnie qui occupe un emplacement. :D


C'est peut-être pour ça qu'ils nous cachent toujours la to-do list de l'EA6, dans la page du planning.
Trop de surprises dedans. :P

Pour varier du jet-pack, un petit parachute/deltaplane pourrait être sympa pour plus de sécurité en haute altitude.

I had wondered if there would be a wider variety of equipment types. Nice to see them being implemented.

I'm still holding out for a type of bag that gives you a secondary inventory that holds only one category of items, (i.e. Ore, Wood, food etc.) so that you can go harvesting without filling up your inventory too quickly.

L'idée de la lampe torche pour un slot, c'est une bonne idée. Les lumiblocs ne suffisent plus lorsque je cherche un minerai rare dans une grotte vaste.
