A minor change in the game

2017-01-30 Development
Sorry, news about the game have been rare in the last few weeks...

Worth waiting...? :)

Starting in the next version, when you'll detach a small group of blocks from a planet or a vehicle, it will be subject to physical forces, and will fall on the ground.

If one of those groups of blocks is not modified for a while, and if it is not made into a vehicle by attaching a gyrograv block or an aeroblock to it, it will eventually be destroyed.

This is something that I'd say many people here have been looking forward to for some time now.

I'm assuming that by 'destroyed' you mean 'converted into loose materials.' This would make gathering wood so much faster. Just cut down the base, then come back shortly to collect the materials. I think it would be useful if larger groups of blocks lasted longer, while smaller groups took less time to become materials. Groups of just a few blocks should become materials almost instantly.

Also, it's cool that we will be able to cut down a tree and instantly turn it into a hoverbike. :D

Building on jolcools idea, even if it became sort of a pile of rubble once it disappears. It seems like you could lose quite a bit of matter if you were to blow up say the bottom of a very tall tower. Even trees could become a pile of really indistinguishable sticks and leaves should you chop one down.

Good work! Would it be possible to make the blocks realign themselves with the world after a certain amount of time rather than just be destroyed? Either way, this is a great addition.
